Phoenix Publication was founded by Mr.Ramesh Ramachandran, who was introduced to the world of publishing and editing after winning an essay writing contest held by one of the pioneer publication entities, “Dhanam” during his college years where he served as a magazine editor in the year 1998. Marking a win in that competition laid the stepping stones for him into the field of letters.
Mr.Ramesh is actively involved in various talk shows and other visual communication programs on social awareness issues, most notably in the talk show hosted by television’s remarkable figure, Sreekantan Nair.
He has a graduate degree in Law from the University of Bangalore. He founded Phoenix Publications after he left Malayali Vishesham Company where he had joined in 2013 in pursuit of creating independent literary works. With the hard cash he earned from his works issued in school and college magazines, he published “Sancharam Keralathile, Mahakshethragalilude”, a book that chronicles the true cultural fiesta of the temples from Kasargode to Parashala, including history, myths, festivals, ritual practices, travel maps and highquality pictures of these glorious statures of ethnical beauty.
“Sancharam Keralathile Mahakshethragalilude” is now widely available in all important temple trusts like Thiruvithamkoor, Cochin, Guruvayoor and Malabar. The author / publisher considers it as a privilege to be able to broadcast the adaptation of this book in one of the leading channels like Kairali TV.
He has also issued a socio – political magazine, the first of its kind in the education sector. The online version of the magazine is soon to be made available. Phoenix Publication has also successfully completed the printing and publication of various works with ISBN recognition. It has over 50 works to complete in the coming two years, which acts as an incentive to work and serve better.

The first periodical was issued on September, 2013 titled Phoenix Educational News Bulletin (monthly). It was released by The Honorable Educational Minister of Kerala under the license of RNI (Registrar of News Papers India) License No RNI KERMAL 15981. It is a multicolored A4 size magazine of which around 2000 copies are printed every month and is priced at Rs. 50/- per magazine.
The next product, a book titled “Sancharam Keralathile Mahakshethragalilude” was released by the Honorable Co-Operative, Tourism and Devasom Minister Sree Kadakampalli Surendran and State CBCID IG Sree S.Sreejith IPS on 8th January 2018.The book costs Rs.1895/- and is 468 pages long. It divulges the history, legends, rituals, festival and art and culture of the 227 major temples of Kerala. It is a fully multicolored book. Of the 5000 copies printed, 800 copies have already been sold out.
The book is a bestseller among the following factions – Thiruvithamkoor Devasom Board, Cochin Devasom Board, Guruvayoor Devasom Board, Malabar Devasom Board. It is available in all major book stalls in Kerala including the two major international airports in Kerala.
The new and upcoming project is Phoenix Online Educational Web Portal which is a prime creation of Phoenix Publication.
